Nice!
If you ever wanted to invite a cranky, annoying relative who thinks Houston is a hellhole to town, this would be the week to do it. It would be particularly awesome if that person wasn't from San Diego, because, well, it's time for some Southern California weather up in here.

In case you were out of town or not paying attention, last week was the coldest week of the year so far with our first freezing day of the year south of I-10. The weekend began to see a warming trend and we should see very similar weather continue throughout the week. Expect temperatures in the 60s during the day and upper 40s at night through Thursday.

By Thursday afternoon, temperatures should warm a bit ahead of an advancing cool front. We could see rather unseasonably warm temperatures Thursday and early Friday with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the 50s before the front passes Friday afternoon. We've been making up for the continued drought with a relatively wet start to the year and while Friday could bring a shower or two, we will probably remain mostly dry through the end of the month.

Once the front is through, a similar pattern of highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s should return along with abundant sunshine throughout the weekend and well into next week. This is the time to make your friends who live up north jealous. Send them pictures of you sipping a margarita on a patio in shorts. Then laugh and laugh and laugh. They'll have plenty of time to mock us when they are enjoying 75-degree afternoons in mid-August.

Don't you agree that this data you cite is proof against any kind of man-made-climate-change. Seems pretty open and shut to me.
