William Duncan, East Texas Teacher, Busted Peddling Meth in Junior High Parking Lot, Police Say

Categories: Crime, Education

No word on if this East Texas Mr. White has a Jesse Pinkman-style frenemy.
First there was a real-life Walter White busted allegedly selling meth in Alabama...And now we have the case of William Duncan, 43-year-old junior high science teacher in Cass County, Texas.

According to police in the town of Linden, Duncan sold meth to an undercover cop in the parking lot of his workplace: Mae Luster Stephens Junior High School, the very same educational institution where Duncan taught. Police alleged that the deal went down just before the morning bell rang, and claimed that they found more meth in Duncan's truck.

Duncan also coached the science team to a third-place finish in a UIL academic contest last December. Maybe the other schools were able to cook up purer batches.

Linden Police Chief Alton McWaters told Shreveport's KSLA that Duncan's arrest came after a five-month investigation.

"They were selling it all over the place. You've got to stop it," McWaters said.

Duncan is charged with delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone. If convicted of the enhanced drug-dealing charge, he could face life in prison.
