Trinity, Texas: Home of the Best Mugshots in the Lone Star State

Categories: Crime

Kimberly Allen, 33.jpg
Trinity PD
Kimberly Allen, 33: Accused of delivery of a controlled substance, engaging in organized criminal activity and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Here at Hair Balls Crime Central, we gaze upon many a mugshot in our daily routine. After looking at thousands from dozens and dozens of jurisdictions, we can say beyond a shadow of a doubt than none are consistently as wonderful as those made by the police in Trinity, Texas.

The people behind the cameras in the town on the northwest reaches of Lake Livingston are true artists. They seem to use a higher-quality camera than other law enforcement agencies, and the lighting and beige backdrop are nonpareil in the state.

Of course, all the technique and technology in the world wouldn't be able to overcome poor raw material. Luckily, Trinity shows no such shortage -- the town's (alleged) meth freaks, pillheads and drunks offer up a nonstop parade for the town's shutterbug geniuses.

And without further ado, here are our favorites from the past few months. Gaze upon them and quake, and click to enlarge if you dare...

Tommy "Kenny Powers" Stone, 39: Possession of drug paraphernalia and felony mullet-rockin'

Javier Mendoza.jpg
Trinity PD
Javier Mendoza, 35: Assault / family violence. Mendoza was arrested for allegedly beating his female companion while drunk at a local Mexican restaurant. An ICE hold was later put on him.

Marci Johnson.jpg
Trinity PD
Marci Johnson, 41: Public intoxication. At least she's a happy (alleged) drunk.

Tiffany Durdin.jpg
Trinity PD
Tiffany Durdin, 38: Possession of crack and a crack pipe.

Steve Stephens.jpg
Trinity PD
Steve Stephens: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. This Ron Jeremy lookalike was arrested for allegedly beating a woman with a Mag flashlight.

Jennifer Morris.jpg
Trinity PD
Jennifer Morris, 27: $1,300 in unpaid traffic tickets, million-dollar smile.

David Fabela.jpg
Trinity PD
David Fabela, 31: driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and driving while license invalid with previous convictions. Fabela allegedly backed into a car in the parking lot of Tiny's Tavern, where he had just gotten into a fight. Fabela fled the scene, the owner of the other car in hot pursuit. Officers observed this chase and became involved. Fabela got Tased on his way downtown, so this picture here is the finale in what had to be a very long and hard night.

David Scruggs.jpg
Trinity PD
David Scruggs, 47: Delivery of meth.

anyway you cut it, they are all among us, no matter where you live, they will be there to steal, rob, beat or kill to get the drugs they crave. The state of Texas mandated Harris Country to offer treatment verses incarnation, rather than confinement. Some have successfully have taken the option and have gotten off drugs. Some don't care, lock those up

This is not surprising at all. Trinity is sewer of east Texas.  Every other person there is either a meth head, drunk, or an overly charismatic, bible thumping "christian".  I've never seen more churches in my life, for a town of roughly 3000 people.  These people are certifiable.

Not every1 there is like that. So I'd advise u to keep your fuckin rude comments to yourself.

Not everyone there is like that, it's people like you (with your mindset) that have brought that town to where it is now. I grew up there as well and it wasn't always that way. Sure, you're going to have a few as every town does. Finally they have some law enforcement that cares and is committed to cleaning it up. But with the previous law enforcement it went virtually unchecked for so many years it's no wonder it's as bad as it is. What gets me is someone like you (whoever you are) making the generalization that ALL the people there are certifiable. I have family still living there, we can't help it when the trash blows in. It's just that now, they're sweeping up the trash and closing the window to keep more from blowing in! WE WERE HERE FIRST! When Trinity was a nice place to live, and hopefully will be again soon!
