Galleria Jewelry Store Smash-And-Grab: It Doesn't Get Much More Brazen Than This (w/VIDEO)

A sample of the loot that got away.
It got pretty brazen at a Galleria jewelry store before the holidays.

Authorities have released a video of a smash-and-grab that is just that: Robbers entering the Ben Bridge store at the posh mall about 9 p.m. December 22, bringing down Thor's hammer on the jewelry cases, and running Abercrombie & Fitch? Who knows?

Actually, they ran outside to a waiting car.

"After clearing the display case of its contents, the suspects fled the scene on foot," Crime Stoppers and HPD says. "Investigators believe the suspects exited through a nearby door, and fled in a vehicle waiting outside. The suspects completed the burglary in less than a minute and reportedly got away with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, including a number of rare Rolex watches."

Surveillance video of the incident:

Authorities described the suspects as "three black males, approximately 20-30 years old. At the time of the offense the suspects wore dark colored clothing, gloves, masks and hats to conceal their identity."

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at (713) 222-TIPS (8477).

Bling bling! Nice.. Seriously, its a trash world. Who really benefits from all this? Dirty peniles?

Folks of the same description using the same MO hit the Ben Bridge at Memorial City a few years ago the day I was there.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Did anyone notice in the background the family  that was trying to flee the store on the left side of the shot?  Apparently, a store employee really wanted to get back whatever merchandise they were looking at and chased them down.
