Rick Perry's "Politically Incorrect" Ad: Other Things You're Not Allowed to Say

Categories: Perry 2012
Rick Perry has a new TV ad up in Iowa titled "Politically Incorrect."

"Washington is the capital of political correctness, where doublespeak reigns and the truth is frowned upon," he says in it. "You can't say that Congressmen becoming lobbyists is a form of legal corruption. Or that we give aid money to countries who oppose America. Or that Washington insiders are bankrupting Social Security. You and I know it's true, but not politically correct."

What are some other things you "can't say" these days that Rick Perry is not afraid to say?

We turned to our updated Rick Perry Dumb-Quotes Random Generator for help, and rewrote the ad script.

-- "You can't call "Solynda" a country. You and I both know -- or, at least, you probably do -- that Solyndra-with-an-r is a company. But if you go around fouling up the name and making it a country, all of a sudden it's politically incorrect."

-- "You can't say the American Revolution took place in the 16th Century. You and I know it's almost true, but not politically correct. Or any kind of "correct" at all, really, as I've come to find out."

-- "You can't go around a-sayin' you're gonna eliminate three federal agencies. Trust me on this one."

-- "You can't say 'Washington insiders are bankrupting Social Security' if you're on record calling Social Security 'a Ponzi scheme.'"

-- "You can't say you're running for President when your entire platform consists of brainless red-meat bumper-sticker statements that you can't be bothered to really think about. Oh wait, I guess you can."

You can't say the late, great, Molly Ivins didn't warn you about electing another governor from Texas.

Truly one of the greats. Sadly missed. Her critics simply couldn't handle her sharp tongue and wit because they possessed neither.

Having a Pro-Palestenian (which doesnt make one anti-Israeli) POV gave her detractors the ammo they needed.

hate·ful  [heyt-fuhl](adjective) Having a political view not in alignment with the speaker's."I am a Democrat [/Republican] and my neighbor is not. Therefore, his politics are by definition hateful. Whine, whine, moan."

Add into the mix a healthy does of misogyny and you have a hate cake. Some people just can't stand a strong, independent woman who doesn't take shit from any man.

Obviously you've never read any of the old goat's "columns". Hateful is the perfect adjective for her.

Thanks for trying though.
