You Won't Have Ron Paul to Kick Around Anymore (Unless He Wins the White House)

Ron, we hardly knew ye.
Will the U.S. be able to survive without Ron Paul in the House of Representatives? We're about to find out.

Paul's district newspaper, the Brazosport Facts, reports today that Paul will not seek re-election after almost a quarter-century in Congress.

Instead, the 75-year-old pol will concentrate on his pipe-dream 2012 presidential campaign.

"I felt it was better that I concentrate on one election," Paul told the paper. "It's about that time when I should change tactics."

Paul's idiosyncratic views seemed largely out of place with Brazoria County -- some fit, others didn't. But he has a reputation for sterling constituent service and has never really faced much opposition, even when Frank Sinatra Jr. was there campaigning for his ex-wife.

I don't question Paul's patriotism and love of country. He is a good, decent man. But, his Libertarian views have never caught on ANYWHERE on our planet. You would think that if that ideology was the end all and be all, at least one nation would have adopted it whole hog. But, that has NEVER happened.

I beg to differ, Somalia seems to be following them quite well.

The only people kicking him around are self hating people like Richard.

How is Richard self hating? I get it, he must be because he criticizes your golden cow.

It's not a pipe-dream when you are actually doing it.  He may never when but at least he tried.

He should just save his money and go home.

Ron Paul 2012 Wonderful honest man who knows economics and can help to get us out of this mess and also bring our troops home NOW. Believes in the right to life as so many do and a staunch supporter of the Constitution, so many other politicians have forgotten it.

He certainly supports the parts of the Constitution he agrees with.  Ask him about this part, from Article VI "and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land;"
