Comment of the Day: If Twitter, Google+ and Social Media Were Around During the First Moon Walk
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We offered five obscure facts about the Apollo 11 moonwalk in honor of its 42nd anniversary today. Besides wine and Buzz Aldrin's perverse refusal to take pictures of Neil Armstrong, the list included the fact that Aldrin holds the honor of being the first man to pee on the moon. (In his suit, actually.)
One reader went to town on what it would be like in today's social-media world.

Can you imagine if we had all these social media channels 42 years ago, Buzz and the gazillions who watched him, would have been pretty busy on all these channels: Twitter: I need to pee pee!
I pee peed!
I'm pee peeing here!
Why am I pee peeing?
Watch this pee pee!
I pee pee well
myspace: let's dance while pee peeing!
Let's all pee pee in a circle
