Comment of the Day: Liquor Laws and Church
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
This week we wrote about how the conservative majority in the Texas House hope to close the state's massive budget gap -- by letting liquor stores open on Sunday so the government can get all that sweet, sweet tax revenue.
One commenter noted that such a change might cause him to modify his churchly habits.
