"Sweet Caroline," Complete With 10-Minute Guitar Solo

Categories: Hurricane Ike
Man, we're sorry we missed the Grammys last night.

Check out the bit of news in this Associated Press story, via the Beaumont Enterprise: "Neil Young, honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year for his aid to Hurricane Ike victims on Oak Island in Galveston Bay, performed his hit 'Sweet Caroline.'"

That is one performance we'd pay to see -- Neil Young, hopefully with Crazy Horse, doing a 12-minute version of "Sweet Caroline."

On the other hand, the AP (and/or the Enterprise) could have simply confused Neil Young with Neil Diamond, which happens all the time.

Diamond, of course, has done maybe more than any entertainer to help Ike victims.

He also, we are told, does a knock-out version of "Cortez the Killer."
