We're still accepting entries for the latest round of our photo contest for Houston-area high school students. Winners get bookstore gift certificates and become eligible for a $1,000 college scholarship.
The theme is "Back to School." A very broad theme, indeed. Use your imagination and get snapping. Deadline is the end of the month.

We're accepting entries until the end of August for our photo contest for Houston-area high school students.
The theme is food. Good food. Bad food. Dog food. People food (but not in a cannibalistic way, of course). Anything that relates to eating. Food.

Last month we asked Houston’s high school students to cool off and focus on the theme of water, and the kids came back with what just might be the best wave of photos yet.
You can check out the online gallery here. And be sure to come back to this post and vote for your favorite in the comments section below. Winner gets a bookstore gift certificate and entry into our year-end contest for a $1,000 college scholarship.
So head on over and come on back. Unless, of course, you’ve got something against free money. – Keith Plocek
