Snow on one of my plants. Thrilling, isn't it?
As we head towards the tail end of this "winter event," a strange and miraculous thing happened around the inner metro area of Houston. Strange, tiny (almost impossible to see) white flakes of ice fell from the sky. That's right, snow. For the first time since last week's Snowpocalypse, most of the inner loop area of Houston got some light snow flurries.

Because the temperature remains below freezing, some of it even managed to stick on plants, cars and roofs. It is not cold enough for it to stick on the ground, but if the reaction on Twitter is any indication of the average Houstonian, folks around here didn't care and were just thrilled to see some of the white stuff, even if it was only for a few minutes.
