Burn, baby, burn.
I heard reports yesterday of fans burning Matt Schaub jerseys in the Reliant Stadium parking lot after the 23-20 loss to the Seahawks, but now we have actual proof.

The video shows a man paying a fan $200 for his Schaub jersey just to set it on fire in the parking lot while people watched. Wow.

It's a violation of city code on open fires, but otherwise who cares?

They're just a bunch of dumb drunks that don't know how to channel their anger!! They'll love them again if they win! It's a vicious cycle with these "fans"!!

first of all im sure it was a fake jersey, u can buy one on Facebook or in the hood for like 40$ WITH the Nike tags AND the NFL hologram. Second, the NFL will gladly sell him REAL jerseys and he can burn them all he wants,it wont change the fact that Schaub has three more years on his contract..

Not representative of the Texan fan base at all - people can have their opinion on the team and/or players - but when it comes to creating open fires in a public venue that is clearly not allowed or puts other fans in harms way - I'm against it.

Shaub is responsible for 20% of the points scored ageist the Texans.

Texans fans get a small taste of what it's like to have a good team and, all of a sudden, it's a witch hunt to get rid of the best quarterback we've ever had. This is terrible sportsmanship.

He was Upset. Weren't we all? If anyone walked up to me that day w/ cash to burn my Shaub gear, I'd gladly hand it over. I WANTED TO BURN IT MUSELF. Just didn't.

I think this was a huge waste of lighter fluid... Use it to clean your toilet... Much more fitting for his jersey

Probably the same blue lot idiots that caused the issues during the cowboys game a couple of years ago. The collective IQ does not appear to be too high in that bunch. Way to go a**holes, because of you the rest of the nation thinks texans are a bunch of idiots.

As a Fan - it's fair to root or boo for your team - but as a Texan - it's more important to conduct yourself at a higher level than most. Remember - its not just the rest of the league that will be watching - so will your family, friends and community. Act like a Texan - be a Texan!

That's just wrong, I would not do that, even if the Texans lost. Win or lose, #BullsOnParade.

What else do people have to do before someone gets the idea to bench Schaub?  Hopefully this will be a wake up call!!

Hate it or love it, Schaub is the best QB that we have on our 53 man roster, and gives us the best chance to win.

Jonathan Palmarez
Jonathan Palmarez

So all of this was to show that we want a different QB, correct? So by these idiots' logic, burning our current starting QB's jersey will attract top tier talent to our city? I think not.

Jonathan Palmarez

Isn't that what you're doing, playing the blame game? There are 53 players on the roster, there is plenty of blame to go around.

There's also a lot of domestic abuse here in Houston after the Texans lose... get a grip people.
