Three M&Ms and a Photo of Bacon? Odd Joke Requests Present Little Problem for Woodlands Resort Hotel

That's a sweet bacon photo.
When a Reddit user was presented with a "special request box" at the time of booking a room at the Woodlands Resort, he decided to have some fun with the hotel staff. He left the following request in the online form box: "Three red M&Ms on the counter. Not packages, just three single M&Ms. One for me, one for my girlfriend and one to split if we get hungry late at night. And a picture of bacon set on the bed. I love pictures of bacon."

Then he and his girlfriend went to the resort and, lo and behold, their wishes were answered. As he posted on Reddit and as it was retold here for the Reddit-challenged, the hotel did exactly as he asked and he even shot photos for evidence.

Three M&Ms lined up on the table and one photo of bacon framed and placed on the bed.

In the Reddit thread, a woman referring to herself as TXallison responded to the original poster saying she worked at the resort and they got a kick out of the request. They printed a photo of bacon they found online. She even posted a picture of her name badge from the resort as proof she works there.

Tuesday morning, they posted this to their Google+ account:

One of our guests had an unusual request. It was our pleasure to accommodate his request. Who doesn't love bacon!?

It's good to know the folks at the Woodlands Resort Hotel have a sense of humor...and are this concerned with the happiness of their guests.

Actually my husband received and took care of the request with one of the managers. They took the photo from the hotels catering. Kyle & The Woodlands Resort were featured on CW39 Newsfix :)

Love the story, but my request would be far more practical. I just stayed in 10 hotels in 10 nights. I can say with assurance that would I'd really like is to stay in a hotel where the corners of the room have been vacuumed this year.
