Those of us coming into Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday morning were greeted with TSA-like screenings, army personnel sweeping our bags for explosives, and even bomb-sniffing dogs, including one of Houston's finest four-legged officers, driven in to help out New Orleans's squad, whose K-9 unit was temporarily short-staffed on Tuesday.

Two HPD vehicles were seen at the Superdome, and the officer in charge of the bomb-sniffing canine (both of whom wished to remain nameless) helped NOLA PD deal with the mass of sports media coming to the stadium for player interviews.

They will be helping all week with various other events scheduled at the stadium leading up to the big game on Sunday.
