The Texans in yet another improbably way, defeated the Lions in Detroit 34-31, their second straight overtime victory, this one only five days removed from their last win over the Jaguars.

The win came after both teams turned the ball over and missed field goals in the overtime period before Shane Graham hit a 32-yarder for the victory. The win was assisted by an obscure call when running back Justin Forsett, his knee clearly down, was not whistled down by contact and ended up taking it 81 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Coach Jim Schwartz of the Lions threw the challenge flag before the play could be automatically reviewed by the booth resulting in a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and no review. No doubt, that will be debated for weeks.

The Texans capitalized taking the game into overtime and finally pulling out the victory. The win moves the team to 10-1. They face division rival Tennessee Titans next week in Nashville. Full coverage coming this evening from our own Sean Pendergast. Stay tuned.
