Murder charges are pending against a 34-year-old man in the fatal shooting of another man, Houston police report.
Suspect arrested in fatal shooting.
Kirk Pierre Rhodes was arrested following the shooting at 6013 Schroeder about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 7.
The identity of the male victim, 53, was being withheld pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Whitehead and Senior Police Officer B. Nabors reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Further investigation and witness statements identified Rhodes as the suspect in this case. Rhodes was then taken into custody at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
