Cameron Gerald Dorsey has confessed, police say
A 20-year-old Houston man has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the deaths of his great-grandfather and his aunt on Thursday, November 8.

Cameron Gerald Dorsey is charged in the deaths of Clements Vincent Dorsey, 89, and Barbara Ann Dorsey Alexander, 61, whose bodies were discovered at 8118 Dover. Both suffered blunt force trauma, police said. The house they were in was on fire when authorities arrived. The senior Dorsey was a pastor.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Wilson and Officer C. Cardenas reported:

Houston firefighters were called to the above address after a family member arrived to find the house on fire. The bodies of Mr. Dorsey and Ms. Alexander were subsequently found inside. An elderly woman, asleep inside the burning residence, was safely rescued by HFD personnel.
Mr. Dorsey's grandson, Cameron Dorsey, was seen leaving the scene at the time of the fire, driving his grandfather's vehicle.
On Sunday (November 11), Dorsey was arrested without incident and subsequently confessed to his role in the murders.

Dorsey reportedly used a sledgehammer in the attack.
