Oh, Houston police sergeant Stacey Suro -- you tease with your semi-NSFW shots, the ones artfully pixeled out by KPRC, which broke the story of your nude-modeling sidejob -- but when it comes to delivering the goods, you and Channel 2 fail.

The station taunts with a nyah-nyah description like this:

The images we posted in our video story are not the most revealing. We obtained some photos that are just too racy to show you. They depict Soro in fetish, bondage and other compromising positions.

And you, Stacey Suro, 20-year HPD vet, what do you do?

You pull those "too racy" photos.

Have you no pride in your game, no back-up to your apparent bold proclamation and life philosophy that off-duty nude modeling need not affect our on-the-job performance evaluation?

KPRC, being a mainstream media outlet, doesn't even attempt the bondage stuff and it breaks out he pixilator when it's shower time:

KPRC is offering an edited portfolio of Soro shots as part of their story.

Soro, a 42-year-old 20-year vet working on the west side, is not talking about her modeling gig, and HPD isn't offering much in the way of comment either. Chief Charles McClelland says an investigation is ongoing, department policy talks about how officers should not bring disrespect upon HPD, etc., etc.

Until the investigation is finished, you'll have to mollify yourself with the thought of getting handcuffed by this sterling officer:

Update: As we say, Soros or her supporters have been energetic about scrubbing the pics from the web; Redditors and others have been energetic in seeking them out.

Ironic that a suggestive Fireman's Calendar is applauded, but a female officer cannot do the same as her male counterparts... Wouldn't a male calendar with sales going to charity be applauded? "But this is for charity" is not a good excuse for me...just sayin'

She does deserve a private life, unfortunately, it will be difficult for her to be taken seriously by anyone who recognizes her, and this is an unfortunate reflection on the influence of the force. This means that her private life is no longer just her business at a certain point. I think everyone deserves the right to practice privacy until it does impact other people. This said, I think she should have the opportunity to control the situation and put things right for her and the force given the outcome. With time, it will be forgotten and repercussions should be reserved for the second occurrence, as by then, she should be aware of the outcomes. Just my opinion. Sorry Soro, it seems you gave up some rights when you decided to protect and serve us :(

Who cares??? As long as she was not in her uniform or using any of her department issued equipment, it's a non-issue that she's a police officer. Sounds like the Sgt pissed somebody off and they are retaliating against her.
