Is "Selling My PlayStation" some sort of euphemism?
It's a sad sign of the times when people aren't even able to sell their Sony PlayStations at 2 a.m. to some dude they found on Facebook without getting stabbed.

But that's just what happened to a Corpus Christi man this morning, according to the Caller-Times.

According to the paper's account, a woman who identified herself as the victim's sister called police at 2:52 a.m., saying her bro had been "robbed and injured."

Per the story: "The man told officers he was trying to sell his PlayStation 3 to someone he met on Facebook. He said they agreed on a price and were to meet on Williams [Street]. The man said the buyer pulled a knife on him and [a] scuffle ensued. During the struggle, the man fell inside the buyer's vehicle and dropped the Play Station 3."

To add injury to injury, the car pulled away while the victim was still partly inside, "dragging the man before running over his leg." (He suffered an abrasion to his leg, but refused medical treatment.)

It's a real tragedy, and we believe every word of the man's story. We're certain the police do as well. But at least we can learn a valuable lesson from all this. Now if you'll excuse us, we need to head to an abandoned warehouse by the Ship Channel tonight so we can sell our Wii to some dude we found on MySpace.
