Shot in his own driveway.
A man was shot and killed in his southeast-side driveway Saturday night, Houston police say.

John Martinez, 45, was walking from his car to his front door in the 7000 block of Ashburn about 10 p.m. when he was approached by suspected robbers who shot the father of four.

Martinez was hit by several shots and taken to Memorial Hermann, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they have no motive or witnesses for the shooting.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

i am john martinez niece and our family really really need people support to help us find the guys that killed my uncle because i dont want the investigaters to give up on my uncles case so i really hope some one can reach out to us with some information about the people who did this, it hurts to know that a good man like my uncle  died the way he did but doesnt supprise me that he fought thoes guys just to protect his family that were few feet away from him in the house. i miss you uncle john
