Angelina County Jail
Brenda Hernandez: All dressed up with nowhere to go...except jail.
A 17-year-old Lufkin woman was jailed Friday night after a fracas erupted when her father forbade her from attending a Halloween party, police said.

According to KTRE, Hernandez responded to dad's attempt at disciplining her by going to the kitchen and retrieving a knife.

Her sister tried to disarm and wound up with a slashed hand for her troubles. (The injury was not life-threatening.)

Judging by her mugshot, Hernandez already had a lot invested in attending that party, though we are uncertain if her pumpkin-like garb is Angelina County-issued attire or part of a seasonal costume. At any rate, she now faces a charge of aggravated assault, a second-degree felony punishable by two to 20 years behind bars.

She is currently free on a $10,000 bond.

Wearing a jailhouse jumpersuit in advance? lol, nice touch. I hope they at least played "Jailhouse Rock" for her at the station. It was supposed to be a party afterall =)

This young woman (barely, she's 17) clearly has some problems. Not sure HP is making them any better by blasting them all over the internet and facebook. She's 17, but this will haunt her forever.
