Comment of the Day: Dierdorf's "Over the Top Slathering"

We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning or afternoon from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
Sean Pendergast decided to pass on some of the apparently hundreds of tweets inspired by sportscaster Dan Dierdorf's coverage of the Texans-Ravens game, particularly his love of the Ravens' Terrell Suggs, on the sidelines or in the game.
Here's what Millerman777 had to say about it:
I'm honestly surprised this is so new. I hated Dierdorf on MNF years ago because of his over the top slathering up of players. Every guy was "a future HOFer" or each play was "the best (insert play) I've ever seen on a football field." It was like a cross between Gruden and Bill Walton. He is just a putz in general. I even hated his 1981 football card when I was 11. He has no pads on and he looks like a cop (no offense cops but feather haircucut + stache =cop or porn)..and he was a Cardinal.
