Comment of the Day: There's Enough Jargon In This iPhone5 Comment For All Of Us

We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning or afternoon from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
Geeks went wild over the release of the iPhone5, which for us non-geeks is some sort of newer version of iPhones1-4 (we're guessing).
Our resident tech expert was here to rate and evaluate, and readers chimed in about different aspects, including the wi-fi/wireless one.

I think that "oops, wi-fi is crap, we'll go to cell for a while" is supposed to be an option iOS6 via Settings. TUAW mentioned it, I believe, from one of the beta releases, but it's one of those features that Apple doesn't think is sexy enough to publicize. (Kind of like in iOS 4 when they added Bluetooth AVRCP - it's not a cool enough feature to really call out in bullet lists, but it made my life a lot easier...)
