Christian Educator Had Sex With Teen Girl, Now on the Run From Police (UPDATED)
New Braunfels police have an arrest warrant and are searching for Leon Eugene Sneed, the 44-year-old (former, we guess) basketball coach at New Braunfels Christian Academy, who is accused of an "Improper Relationship between Educator and Student -- Sexual Contact."

Police said they began their investigation after the school reported the possibility that a sexual relationship had occurred between Sneed and a 17-year-old female student at the school in the latter part of the last school year.
According to the police report:
On September 12, 2012 Leon Sneed confessed to New Braunfels Police Detectives that he did engage in a sexual relationship with a 17- year old female student who attended the New Braunfels Christian Academy on at least five or six occasions.New Braunfels Police Detectives had spoken to Leon Sneed and he had agreed to turn himself in on the warrant on Friday September 14, 2012. Leon Sneed failed to do so and is now considered a fugitive from justice.
Sneed lives in San Antonio and is associated with various youth related basketball organizations within the New Braunfels and San Antonio area, police said.

Update: NBPD reports Sneed turned himself in this afternoon to authorities in San Antonio. "This case will be forwarded to the Comal County District Attorney's Office for prosecutorial considerations.," they said.
