Unidentified Man Found in His Front Yard, Bayou Body Count No. 136

Blunt trauma to the head, in his own front yard.
The body of a man dead from blunt-force trauma to the head was discovered Saturday afternoon on the east side, police say.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was lying in the front yard of his home in the 100 block of Georgia about 2:50 p.m. Saturday, HPD says. His identity has not been released pending verification by the medical examiner's office.

He was pronounced dead at the scene; no motive has been established and no suspects have been named, police say.
