A man was shot to death on the northwest side Wednesday night, police say.
Fatal shots on the north side.
Jerrell Dwayne Lewis, 28, was found lying dead from several gunshot wounds in an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Lost Forest about 11:30 p.m. last night, HPD says.
Officers responded to "a shots fired" call and found Lewis's body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The unknown suspects are believed to have fled in either a red Honda two-door sedan and/or a black Ford Explorer," HPD says.
