Angelo Miller, 23, is charged with aggravated assault. HPD says Juan Espinoza, 35, has been arrested in connection with the incident and faces two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Court documents say Miller had been going door-to-door in an apartment complex in the 200 block of East Rosamund July 14, trying to sell drugs.
Residents had seen him doing the same thing before, according to court documents, and some warned him to stay away. Instead, police say, he returned with reinforcements and a shootout broke out.
Shotguns and a TEK-9, a semi-automatic handgun, were used in the shootout, court documents say.
HPD tells Hair Balls that Miller is still on the run; two other men besides Espinoza involved in the incident have been arrested.
