Early Sunday morning around 1 a.m., two men broke into the home of a woman and her 16-year-old daughter in Humble, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, and stabbed the unidentified woman, 48, more than once.

The incident occurred in the 8300 block of Poplar Ridge Lane in Humble. According to police, the daughter did not recognize the men, who left the scene after fatally stabbing the girl's mother. Sheriffs are still investigating and have no motive or suspects at this time.
