Valerie Trevino and Vanessa Morin: Lead Police on Chase With Five Preschoolers in Car
Well, it's not quite Thelma and Louise Plus 8, but it's close.

According to the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, two women were arrested last week after leading police on a short car chase. Once 20-year-old Vanessa Morin pulled her gold Jeep Cherokee over, police found five kids inside, all of them four years old or younger. Two of them -- a three-year-old and a two-year-old -- were not even wearing seat belts, much less in the required car seats. (It was also 11 p.m.)
Police say the chase started after a witness spotted the Cherokee's passenger, 21-year-old Valerie Trevino, smashing the windshield of a pickup truck. The witness tailed Morin and Trevino until police arrived. When the cops hit their lights, the women attempted to escape and ran at least one red light before pulling over, according to police.
Police later said that Trevino smashed the truck windshield in revenge for an alleged assault perpetrated by the truck's owner. She is now charged with criminal mischief and endangering a child, a state felony punishable by up to two years behind bars. Her bail was set at $5,500.

Morin is also charged with endangering a child and criminal mischief, and reckless driving to boot. Her bail was set at $6,000.
Police did not say if any or all of the children in the car belonged to Morin and/or Trevino, but we will say this: on their Facebook pages, there are pictures of kids and both women claim to be fans of MTV's Teen Mom reality series.
