Toshia McMurray: Gives a new meaning to the term "brick house."
A Bryan woman was jailed for much of the weekend after she was arrested in connection with the brick-beating of her husband's head.

According to the Bryan-College Station Eagle, after Bryan police arrived on the scene Friday, 22-year-old Toshia Lasha McMurray told them that her 40-year-old husband had pushed her to the ground. Her husband's story varied: He said that she attacked his car with a concrete brick, and then bashed his head with it eight times.

The man was in an addled state when paramedics arrived. When asked if he knew where he was, he replied "Dallas." When asked if he knew the day of the week, he gave another wrong answer. And then he reportedly collapsed to the ground.

Jail records list McMurray as five feet tall on the nose and packing a cool 250 pounds on that short frame. After serving out a mandatory 24-hour domestic violence hold, McMurray was released from the Brazos County Jail at noon yesterday on a $15,000 bond. She is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of a family member, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison.

Since this appears to be her first brush with the law, it seems unlikely she'll serve anything close to that.
