It definitely hampered the best-laid plans of Kevin and Charles Williamson, two guys with lengthy criminal records who were planning on hitting a Lufkin construction site for some copper.
The trouble was, according to the Lufkin News, was that one of the dudes pocket-dialed 911 as they were tring to pull off the deed.
An operator calmly listened to them talk about the heist, figured out their location and called cops just as the two robbers were leaving the scene.
Their truck was pulled over, and a nice load of copper and aluminum that didn't belong to them was found in it. They've been charged with state jail felony theft.
