Comment of the Day: Another Noise-Ordinance Victim
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning or afternoon from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We wrote about a Houston woman who spent her 30th birthday in jail because of a supposed violation of Houston's new noise ordinance. (As usual, the case was later dropped.)
One reader saw a police state in the making.

How dare you try and celebrate, and music? What were you thinking!? This is a police state now, you are not allowed to celebrate. Especially with your friends and music. You have no rights anymore. Your lucky HPD didn't grope you like the TSA does when we try and travel but that will be here soon enough
