Comment of the Day: Why Man Who Ate Dog Brings Talk of Zombies
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning or afternoon from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We told you about Michael Daniel, the Waco man who ate his family's dog while it was still alive.
Commenters quickly mentioned zombies, and one explained why.

Because we are at a loss as to what to do with these people. The war on drugs has failed and more and more people are doing straight up crazy s^*$ because of stuff like this. I think a charge of animal cruelty is letting this guy off easy. He should be required to be hospitalized and undergo a mental evaluation, at the least.
The "zombie" thing is, I think, because people struggle with the feeling of helplessness at the craziness of the world these days. It's a coping mechanism.
"If we can laugh at it, it's not quite so bad."
