Toyurean Young, 20, Bayou Body Count No. 58 (UPDATED w/ARREST)
Police are searching for a man charged with murder in connection with a shooting in the 10700 block of Beechnut Friday night.

The suspect, 19-year-old Jordan Q. Wilson, has been charged with murdering Toyurean Young, 20, as part of an ongoing dispute between the two.
"Wilson approached Mr. Young, whom he had threatened in the past, in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant at the above location and both men began fighting," HPD says. "At some point during the fight, Wilson retrieved a gun from his shorts' pocket and shot Young."
He then fled on foot. Young was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died. Young was a noted rapper, and our sister blog Rocks Off has more on the case.

Update: Wilson was arrested in Corpus Christi Tuesday and has been charged with murder, HPD reports.
