The Rig, which is what they call Pearland High School's football stadium, has been attacked by persons who somehow do not hold Pearland football in the high esteem it has earned.
We're thinking someone from Friendswood.
The Texas-map logo in the center of the field has been partly torn up -- which means these people hate Texas, too. Note to police: Look for any recent Oklahoma immigrants living in Friendswood.
No damage estimate has been given out, but the sacrilege will not be taken lightly: An anonymous donor has offered $1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the culprits.
