Gelareh Bagherzadeh: Police still baffled.
Police are still baffled by the January 16 murder of Gelareh Bagherzadeh, a Texas Medical Center student and activist against the Iranian government who was gunned down in an expensive neighborhood.

Today Houston Crime Stoppers announced they are offering the highest reward in their history: Information leading to an arrest can earn up to $200,000.

Police don't know whether the killing was political or the result of a botched robbery. Bagherzadeh, 30, was driving to her apartment and inside the complex in the 800 block of Augusta when she was shot up to four times by an unknown gunman.

Police have said neither Bagherzadeh's ex- or current boyfriends are persons of interest in the case.

Private donations are funding the reward.

The family has also set up a Web site with information on the case, OnlyJustice.org.
