This is futbol. not a soccer-mom-saturday-morning-everyone-gets-a-trophy-league. Chill the f out MLS and Dynamo FO. There's hardly any children in the supporters sections. And it was their idea to have an altogether section for supporters. It seems that they only want those pussies from TA to stand and clap. Everyone else...who knows.

Private security, TSA etc = scum of the earth. Given how the US is being turned into one giant police state it is hardly surprising but still sickens me to my core.Hopefully the offending "officers" will die of cancer.

Do some HPD officers take their power to another level? YES. Do some HPD officers actually listen to Houston citizens? Sure. But it seems that they are far in between. I have seen how HPD can act like they are God's gift to mankind. Sad that they have to be stereotyped, but something has to changed. I see too many HPD officers rudely speak to people, stop people because they get upset for whatever reason, and now this. I do appreciate the officers for our safety, but I do not appreciate those officers that take their power to another level. It's like we can't ask questions because they feel threaten? Come on. They are the ones with guns and tasers. If they can't control their emotions, then they should not be serving our great city. Some HPD officers should not be officers and should be investigated. Too many stories like this are far too common. What is up with that I ask? Oh wait...I may be detained for asking questions.

I been quite calm these first couple games in sect. 102 2nd row. (mainly because the 2 hot ass day games) but this HPD incident makes me wanna say fuck it. Tonight and the rest of the way Im mentally back in Robertson stadium(damn i miss the top of the hill at 25min/halftime/70min 4:20). So fuck hpd, 5 star security, and who ever else who dont know nothing about the greatest game in the world

Uh..."alcohol-fueled behavior"? "Riots"? What fantasy world are you living in "Ole4"?? First of all smoke bombs and lewd remarks are an issue for you? Then go to church or something, NOT football. BBVA Compass Stadium is just not a safe place for the passionate fan. Numerous posts on other forums have described the over zealous attitude of security at the new stadium. This isn't just limited to the supporter sections. Regular fans have been harassed by security for things such minor things as standing too long in the concourse, resting your feet against a wall, or even standing in your seat. If you voice your opinion about these things, you can be sure that HPD will arrive shortly to have a "chat" with you.

American matches are so tame compared to their European and South American counterparts. It just seems that once anything is done here, it has to be toned down and made as bland and boring as possible.

There's enthusiasm, and then there's the kind of uncontrolled, alcohol-fueled behavior that leads to the types of riots we've seen in Latin American and European football. The Dynamo management and authorities are right in controlling this group, which has crossed the line way too many times over the years. El Batallon seems to think their "loyalty" to the team entitles them to act in a way in the stadium that would get them arrested (or Tasered) in 2 seconds on the streets. Public intoxication, lewd remarks, smoke bombs, just to name a few behaviors. They've become an embarrassment to supporter groups, who have distanced themselves from these vatos dementes.

You are blaming them for smoke bombs and public intoxication?? havent u ever heard of tailgate parties and team supporters?? And its obvious any1 would be subjected to get rowdy inside a stadium where its loud, full of enthusiasm, and has alcohol vending in any corner..

Language yes,but besides that they have complied with the new stadium regulations.There are no incidents of smokebombs or flares.As for alcohol-fueled behavior,(translation-rooting for your team) that's any sport where fans are allowed to drink alcohol.They have distanced themselves from the other supporters.Truth is the other support groups look for their help during big games suck as fc dallas games.Large rivalry there.Where dallas fans has been known to pay planes with banners that say "We hate Houston!" to fly over home games.

What did Mr. Sosa do you warranted being tasered? Ask questions to police officers about why your friends are being detained is against the law? Also why did the Dynamo and HPD initially deny that a taser had been used inside the stadium on a fan? Check out the second video. Another officer is threatening to taser fans that are complaining about HPD's aggressive tactics. Is this necessary?

Not saying its correct behavior but those acts are done by all members of each supporter group. If you have been around for years you would know that TA an LB member get into trouble for all those acts as well but at BBVA who is targeted ??

BBVA Compass Stadium is just not safe for the passionate fan. Do anything besides sit in your seat and security will have some words with you. This isn't just in the supporter's section. There have been countless posts in other forums about over zealous security harassing fans for such minor things as resting your foot against the wall, or standing up in your seat. Voice your opinion and you can be sure that HPD will be there soon to have a "chat" with you.
