Comment of the Day: If Dan Patrick Is Gay, How We'll Find Out
We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We wrote about the strange passive-aggressive e-mail war between Dan Patrick and a state senate colleague, one in which the colleague wrote that he had heard Patrick was gay, but he hadn't said it.
That brought forth an epic rant about gays and Tea Party types.

Republicans only want to keep the gays down, because it keeps their own closeted sex life seeming dirty - and by extension, "hot." Does anyone think Dan Patrick is going to have a press conference to 'announce his deep love and admiration for his secret, monogamous partner of 20 years?' Hell, no.
