A 46-year-old woman died when the driver of the SUV she was in got into a wild accident, Houston police say.

Amelia Perez was a passenger in a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Casimiro Campos, 64, in the 5400 block of Anderson on the southwest side about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
"Campos was driving a blue Chevrolet Suburban and initially was involved in a minor accident near the intersection of South Post Oak Road at Anderson," HPD says. "The Suburban then traveled through a service station parking lot at the above address and struck the wall of the convenience store. Campos then drove the vehicle through a fence and into a ditch behind the store."
Perez was ejected from her seat, taken to a hospital and died. Campos received minor injuries and faces murder charges.
