Pilar Rodriguez arrested, charged
A 55-year-old woman has been charged with murder for setting a 42-year-old woman on fire last year.

Pilar Pineda Rodriguez has been charged in the death of Norma Angelica Tapia, who was last scene leaving her job at the Shish Kabob Cafe II on the far west side.

Her body was discovered in George Bush Park at 16000 Westheimer about 1:10 am on July 6.

"Rodriguez was linked to the murder through her DNA, located at the crime scene, in addition to other evidence indicating her involvement," HPD says. But police released no information on possible motives.

Do you all need a new editor? I'd do it for free.

"Pilar Pineda Rodriguez has been charged in the death of Norma Angelica Tapia, who was last scene (should be "seen") leaving her job at the Shish Kabob Cafe II on the far west side."
