Four teens -- two boys and two girls -- face charges.
Houston police say four teenagers have confessed to taking part in the murder of a homeless man from whom they stole a dollar.

Pedro Ramos, 32, was shot and killed April 4 in the 11700 block of Hempstead Highway.

Four teens, including a 16-year-old female, have confessed to taking part in the killing.

Carlos Daniel Fernandez, 18, has confessed to firing the shot that killed Ramos, HPD says; Marilyn Ashley Villarreal, 18, drove the car used in the robbery; Micheal Alexander Correa, 17, "has confessed to being armed during the robbery and to taking a one-dollar bill from Ramos," HPD said; and the 16-year-old female, whose name was not released, has admitted "discharging a shotgun during the robbery, but did not wound anyone."

Police began targeting the suspects after the juvenile "was shot in a recent home invasion in Harris County," police say.

Initially HPD thought Ramos had been killed for his bike and some chicken he had, but they say now only the dollar bill was taken. "The bicycle belonged to another homeless man and the chicken was eaten by other homeless individuals in the area," HPD said.

Investigations are continuing, police said, because "at least some of the suspects are believed to be responsible for additional robberies and home invasions in Houston and Harris County."

Trust me, when these people all go to jail, and some guy or girl, or a gang of people is beating the ever loving crap out of them, or gang raping them over a few bucks or a chocolate bar, they will wish to some god that isn't going to answer them that they had left him alone-and they will be shown the same mercy they showed him and be left on the floor of their cells, whimpering for their mommy and trying to find their teeth.  The only thing wrong with these stories is that I am sick of the BS with not releasing images and names of people because they are teens. they killed a guy-shot him to death-for a buck...Sorry but I want to know who the fuck these little monsters are so I can follow them all their days and make sure I stay clear of them and any offspring they might unleash on the world.

A man's life for $1? Seriously...I shudder to think how highly these teenage murderers value their lives. Like...a buck fifty. Well, now they're going to get some time to build up some interest on that value.

Trust me, these are not children any parent would claim. They are the offspring of people who probobly don't know they are their kids. They learned their values on the streets which is where they likely spend most of their time. Take a good look at their lack of morals; they learned it from watching older adults -- whoever they were -- and proceeded accordingly. How much do you want to bet drugs were involved? And, as aleardy noted; they had criminal histories; the apple never falls far from the tree -- even if the tree is diseased.
