True cowboys are hard to find, but not at the Houston Rodeo. Life on the road leads them here this time every year for the biggest rodeo in the world, where they'll ride and wrangle livestock for cash and glory. Each day, Hair Balls will spotlight one person with enough dirt on his boots to call himself a cowboy -- and mean it.

I've been coming to Rodeo Houston since 2004. The last two years I've actually hit a barrel that would've given me the win, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen this year.

My favorite part about Rodeo Houston is, of course, the money. There's no other rodeo in the world like this, except for Calgary. It's also close to home so it's kind of like a hometown crowd.

When I'm not rodeoing, I have about 40 head of horses at my place so I breed, raise and train girl horses.

If I wasn't rodeoing, I'd want to do something with animals. I got into Texas A&M right out of high school and went there for two semesters. Then my rodeo career took off, so you really can't go to college like that and rodeo. I was going for an ag business degree.
