Goodbye, Mario Williams: Texan Signs with Buffalo

Super Mario is gone.
So the #houstonwhatugot hashtag campaign proved to be a failure.

The effort to keep Super Mario Williams a Texan has failed, as the free agent has signed a big deal with the Buffalo Bills.

ESPN reports Williams got a six-year deal with $50 million guaranteed, a deal that could potentially be worth $100 million (although "potentially" is usually the key word in NFL contracts.)

That much green would make even Buffalo look good, we have to admit.

The combo d-lineman/linebacker was hurt for much of the past season, and the Texans did all right without him defensively. But we'll see how the front office responds to the loss.

He never was worth ''first-round'' pick status.

Right.  The Texans would have been far better off with Reggie Young.

OK...and who did "Reggie Young" go to?
