City Says: Let The Downtown Dynamo Tailgating Begin!

It's difficult to imagine a home Dynamo game without a festive tailgating scene that is celebrated by the senses of sight, sound and smell.

The trouble is, the team is moving downtown and tailgating isn't allowed downtown.
That problem has been solved, however. The city council voted this morning to allow tailgating at BBVA Compass Stadium, near the elevated section of 59 on the east side of downtown.
Dynamo fans had been getting anxious that their tradition would have to be forgotten, but the new ordinance will let the party go on when the stadium opens later this year.
