Hair Balls Is Looking for a Few Good Newshounds
Do you like to keep your ear to the ground? Are you able to overcome any shyness and ask people questions? And equally wonderfully, write down their answers accurately and then turn it all into a factual story? Can you meet a deadline? Do you have an insatiable urge to report on what's happening in Houston? 
The possibilities are endless.
Well, it's Kismet time because Hair Balls is in the market for a few more news bloggers. We can't promise you big bucks (we do pay but not enormously) but we can offer excitement, entree and the chance to ask people questions who might not normally give you the time of day.
If you are interested, please gather up three to five samples of your best journalistic work (no poems, books or theses) along with a cover letter about what you have done and what you propose to do and send it all (links are fine) to our blog editor, Richard Connelly, at rich.connelly@houstonpress.com.
