Super Bowl XLVI: Gisele Bundchen Is NOT Happy with the Patriot Receivers (w/ VIDEO)

Prior to Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, Gisele Bundchen, supermodel and wife of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, e-mailed a prayer request out to many of her close friends and family:

"My sweet friends and family,

This Sunday will be a really important day in my husband's life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this Super Bowl.

So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this Sunday."

Golly, almost brings tears to your eyes, doesn't it? A gentle message brimming with positivity! I'm practically picturing a dove landing on Gisele's shoulder as she sits in a field of wildflowers with her laptop and hits SEND on that message.

Well, either because God wasn't listening or because the Giants were just better, Gisele's prayers went unanswered on Sunday as the Giants beat the Patriots 21-17 in a nailbiter that had some striking parallels to the Super Bowl these two teams played four years ago, up to and including miraculous plays made down the stretch by the Giants, and the Patriots offense bogging down at the worst possible times.

After the game, Gisele had a decidedly less pious tone than her e-mail plea for prayer just a few days earlier. Caught on the video below by television program The Insider, Gisele (in the midst of being heckled by some ultra-classy Giants fans) laid out her analysis of the game for those standing near her waiting for the elevator:

"You (have) to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball. My husband cannot (bleeping) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

Lost in the hilarity of Gisele going from doting wife to F-bomb-spewing quasi-Chowd is the fact that her analysis is actually pretty spot on. If Wes Welker catches this pass from Brady with about four minutes to go, then the Patriots tack on more points, burn more clock, and the game is probably over, or at the very least extremely difficult for New York to win.

From there, Deion Branch and Aaron Hernandez chipped in with drops of their own and eventually the Patriots just ran out of time. There were plenty of chances for the Patriots to put the game away (a couple of Giants fumbles that they couldn't pounce on, to name two), but alas, the Patriots' collective hands of stone in the final five minutes of the game will be the most lasting Patriot memory from this Super Bowl.

So in the end, amidst her burning rage, Gisele's analysis of the game was actually almost as good as anything you'd get out of Keyshawn Johnson.
