Playoff Fallout: Houston Boat Show Closed Saturday

See ya on Sunday.

As you may have heard, the Texans now have an NFL playoff game scheduled for that afternoon. You can't blame the Boat Show for not expecting that to happen.

"We have to suspend the show for one day this Saturday for logistical reasons. With a Texans home playoff game next door, there won't be enough parking for our expected 40,000 attendees that day," said Houston Boat Show President Ken Lovell. "All of us here at The Houston Boat Show are very excited about the playoff game, so we will be celebrating the Texans Saturday and reopening The Houston Boat Show Sunday at 11 a.m. for a Super Sunday celebration with lots of great deals and family activities."

Here's the revised schedule:

Friday, January 6, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 7, CLOSED
Sunday, January 8, 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Monday and Tuesday, January 9 and 10, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday - Friday, January 11-13, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, January 14, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 15, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
