Altovise Mahone, 27, 2011's Bayou Body Count No. 199
What appears to be that last entry to 2011's Bayou Body Count is a 27-year-old woman found dead on the far west side at noon on New Year's Eve after an apparent robbery.

Altovise Mahone, 27, was found in her apartment in the 14900 block of South Richmond after her family had been unsuccessful in several days of trying to reach her, Houston police say.
She is believed to have died the evening of December 29.
Stephen Noah Dawkins. 22, has turned himself in after being wanted on capital murder in connection with the incident. He is believed to have stolen Mahone's vehicle, a red four-door, 2002 Chevrolet Impala, with Texas license plates BD3-B263. Items were also stolen from Mahone's apartment.
