Five Reasons Kevin Sumlin Should Not Go to A&M

• YOU are obviously flawed in at least one way.

• Were YOU accepted by A&M?  For the sake of A&M's academic reputation I'd hope not.

• Something tells me you shouldn't be the judge of any "stupidest" contests.

• And YOU are clearly NOT an idiot or moron!

• Hahaha this article is flawed in many ways. Houston would be 3-9 at best in the SEC. They barely beat UCLA and got stomped by Southern Miss at home. Sumlin is overrated and so is Houston.

• Ok, reason #5 is legit..but the rest of your points are a joke! Good for you that you found someone to pay you for your (or lack of) skills. You must be a UH grad or have were not accepted to A&M.

• Apparently Houstonians like yourself aren't aware that Sumlin is a brilliant recruiter, who while at OU, was a huge part of recruiting a guy named Adrian Peterson. Don't fret Coogs fans, you've always got Phi Slamma Jamma, which is exactly how relevant your football program will be after Sumlin goes to College Station:)

• this is the dumbest thing i ever heard, a 2nd tier program taking their head coach potentially moving to talk smack, especially after Texas A&M tried to get you guys to take their spot in the Big 12 only to be told NO by the University of Texas

• Kevin Sumlin has done a 1st rate job at UofH.  Sure, he didn't recruit most of their elite players.  Houstonians know that.  All the more reason for us to stay quiet about that vital tidbit so the Aggies can over-pay for his services and find themselves doubly screwed 3 years from now when they fire him. But he'll get paid, in the interim. And he deserves a nice paycheck. Think of it as a football mitsvah.
