​There are internships where you sit around and do a whole lot of nothing, internships where you actually do a lot, but "a lot" is confined to coffee runs and making copies, and then there's a Houston Press internship.

No matter what you're looking to get into -- reporting, photography, video -- and no matter where your interest lies -- news, music, food or the arts -- you can get hands-on experience and see what it's like putting out journalism these days.

We can promise you won't be getting coffee for anyone but yourself.
